Recently I rented a mustang convertible and took a road trip to visit my long time friend Bonnie in Naples Florida… and to gather some inspiration for my tropical invitation and stationery line. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for that weekend. It was a total suns out guns out kind of day. We visited the Everglades Wonder Gardens in Bonita Springs, Florida. A word to the wise. If you are planning on visiting, pack a bottled water. They do have vending machines, but it was out of order and there was no water with in walking distance.

My favorite part of the Wonder Gardens was the pink flamingo pond. When seeing them in person you realize how graceful and majestic they are. What was really striking was their vibrant color. Not so much pink, but more salmon. They are a huge inspiration for my invitations and party stationery line.
